Pathways to Success Workshop Series
The Pathways Programs
provide federal agencies with a unique opportunity to position
themselves as employers-of-choice for students and recent graduates, and
fill workforce needs. Now that the regulations are in effect, agencies
have limited time and, in many cases, resources to develop, implement
and maximize the value of these initiatives.
This fall, the Partnership for Public Service will host a series of workshops and longer, in-depth group planning sessions (GPS) to help agencies establish and execute successful programs. These interactive events will feature panelists and presenters from both the public and private sectors, including representatives from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, and will address four areas: program design and evaluation; recruitment and marketing; training and development; and assessment.
The complimentary morning sessions will focus on building participants’ knowledge and awareness, as well as sharing promising practices from across government. These events will take place from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m.
The new GPS will immediately follow and build off of the morning workshops and run until 3:30 p.m. These sessions will allow attendees to delve even more deeply into issues by exposing them to additional insights from subject matter experts, providing them with access to proven frameworks and other resources, and engaging them in facilitated small group discussions. Participants will apply key learnings to build action plans for implementing the Pathways Programs at their agencies.
All events will be held at the Partnership for Public Service in Washington, D.C.
