Engaging Employees through Appreciation

Wednesday, April 9 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. EST
Did you know that the government scores more than 20 points below the private sector on questions around recognition for a job well done? This becomes even more shocking when you consider how important appreciation is in keeping workers engaged and high performing. This session will teach you how to individualize appreciation for your different employees and use it as a tool for increasing productivity, efficiency and employee satisfaction and commitment. A certified Appreciation at Work™ facilitator along with a government leader will guide you through the 5 Languages of Appreciation framework and share low and no-cost approaches you can use to motivate and appreciate your team.

Engaging Employees through Communication

Wednesday, April 30 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. EST
Whether your team works onsite or remotely, effective communication is critical in keeping employees informed, engaged and productive. Learn how to convey critical information, in a manner that promotes engagement and encourages employees to put forth their best efforts. This training provides an overview of core techniques to improve communication with employees and provides specific examples of how to give meaningful feedback, help employees understand how their skills contribute to the overall mission of the organization and provides tools to help you tackle difficult conversations.

Engaging Employees through Empowerment

Wednesday, May 21 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. EST
How do you empower employees and set them up for continued success? Empowering employees through delegation enables them to gain valuable skills and build core competencies that will help them be more engaged and better able to contribute to the success of your team and organization. Learn some promising practices on engaging employees through delegation and empowerment that can increase productivity, instill a sense of pride and ownership, and help you maximize the amount of discretionary effort put forth by your employees.
